Estate caretakers...

Our Estate Caretaker Service is very popular with our customers and covers all of our estates. We currently have 8 caretakers with 2 attached to each of our Neighbourhood Teams and their role is to ensure that our estates are clean and pleasant places to live.

Much of the work that Estate Caretakers carry out is "planned" work, i.e. things that they do regularly, however they also carry our many "responsive" jobs requested by our customers and staff.

Services include:

Cleaning of communal areas of blocks of flats
Insurance and safety checks in blocks of flats
Litter picks on Helena land
Annual block audits
Minor repairs to fences/gates
Removal of fly tipping and bulky items from Helena land
Assisting elderly or vulnerable tenants
Garden maintenance of empty properties
Helping with community events such as skip days and bulb planting
