Your support

As well as providing great homes, Helena works closely with a range of local partners to provide specialist care and support for those who need help to live independently.

See below to find out more about what we can offer.

Help for young people

At Helena we work with lots of young people who have been referred to us and who may be struggling to manage. This may be because you have previously lived in care, are new parents or have other support needs such as a physical disability, depression or a drug or alcohol problem.

Whatever the reason, we will provide practical support that helps you get on your feet. We have specialist short term accommodation available for under 25’s at Appleton Road which consists of 52 one-bedroom flats close to St Helens town centre.

As well as providing great accommodation, Helena and our partners can help and support you with everything from managing money to finding volunteering, training and employment opportunities.

Once we receive your housing application the team will automatically contact you to discuss any issues you may face and identify areas you may need support with.
