Digital for All

Helena staff and volunteers are here to help you to get online, with a range of free sessions for all ages and abilities.

You can get help with:

  • Universal Credit applications and maintaining your claimant commitment
  • Searching for jobs and training
  • Online job applications
  • Learning online
  • Setting up and using email
  • Registering for and using Helena’s online services (reporting a repair)
  • Staying safe online
  • Keeping in touch with friends and family

Sessions are free and suit all ages and abilities.  Sessions run on:

10 - 11am - Cooper Street Sheltered Scheme (for over 55s, living in the local area), 10 Morley Way, Town Centre, St. Helens, WA10 2BQ
1 - 4pm - Wargrave Big Local (Digital Job Hub - open to all), Newton Family and Community Centre

1- 4pm - Helena Central (Digital Job Hub - open to all), 4 Corporation Street, St. Helens, WA9 1LB

1.30-2.30pm - Sandalwood Gardens Sheltered Scheme (for over 55s, living in the local area), 22/24 Sandalwood Gardens, Sutton, WA9 3YG

Include-IT Project

If you are aged 40-62 and are currently not working, then the new Include-IT project where you can access 1-2-1 support at Moss Bank Library, Helena Central (Town Centre), Helena East (Derbyshire Hill), and Parr Library.  Find out more about the project and what it can offer you here.

Accessing the Internet in St Helens

If you do not have direct access to the internet you can also visit one of the many internet access points within St Helens. Find your nearest centre here.
