Extra Care homes are designed with the over 55s in mind, complete with the added reassurance you can remain independent for as long as possible, where tailored care and support is available, assessed to your current, or future, individual needs, with support on-site, should you need them.
Care and support is tailored to meet your needs every day of the year. An emergency alarm lets you call for assistance should you need it.

People over the age of 55 who need additional care and or support.
How to apply:
Applications should be made through the Under One Roof website. For more information call 0800 678 1894.
All applications are considered by an allocations panel following a care or support assessment.

Staying home with our support
Most of us want to live independently for as long as possible. But as we get older, we may need a little extra support.
We can monitor wellbeing 365 days a year through a service called OKEachDay. Simply press a button on your telephone, at a pre-arranged time every day, to let the team know you’re OK. Weather updates, important information and news about local events are all provided by the service too.
The Staying Home Team offer advice and support to help you remain at home safely. They can help arrange property adaptations if you need them, help you save money on fuel bills and check you're claiming any benefits you're entitled to.
